Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.It’s my great honor to give a speech here. Today my topic is : Believe in the future.
The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics closed on February, 20th. The official motto“Together for a shared future”is still lingering in our mind. Yes, we all believe that China and the whole world will join hands to create a better future. During the games, we were shocked and moved by the excellent performance of the athletes. They dream big and they follow their dreams. Su Yiming, Gu ailing make every effort to achieve their personal best. It is clear to see that they work harder and practice more. It even takes them years to get a new trick. They are the role model for all the young generations in China. They can make it because they believe in the future.They can make it because they have a future dream.
In the past two years, we Chinese people have suffered a lot. The epidemic changed our life: students studied online, adults stayed at home,many stores and supermarkets were closed, movements in many cities were also restricted. During the worst time, we see angels in white, volunteers in red, policemen in colors working day and night. They are racing against time. Some of them even sacrificed their lives. Everybody plays a role in fighting against corona virus. Millions of people united together for one belief. That is: We are sure to win in the end. The victory will come in the near future. Now things are becoming much better.
So my fellow students, believe in future, believe in life. Let’s work harder to make our world a better place to live in !
